The Homeowner's Association is a corporation created by the developer before homes are built to help regulate the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) of the real estate development. The Homeowner's Association board is a group of volunteers elected by owners of the community to represent the HOA and make decisions on the homeowners behalf for improvements, upkeep, maintenance, etc. of the community.
