 Adventure Outfitters can accommodate up to 120 people at a time along the Arkansas River. You can choose from a 1/2 day, full day or overnight trips. Safety is their number one priority. All rafts are self-bailing and are equipped with foot cones, Carlisle paddles and oars and America's Cup life jackets. Their rates vary from $20-$220, depending on the expedition you choose. |
| American Adventure Expeditions offers a variety of rafting trips ranging from mild to wild along the Arkansas River. They also offer kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking and backpacking. Rates start at $35 per person. |
 Arkansas River Tours offers family and extreme adventures in the Royal Gorge region, with trips varying from 1/4 day to 6-day wilderness expeditions. There are also River and Rail packages that combine Bighorn Canyon rafting and a Royal Gorge train ride. Bighorn Canyon and Brown's Canyon are fantastic for family trips. There are also float fishing tours for trout on the Arkansas and Gunnison Rivers. The Gunnison Gorge is where they guide your rafting trip below Black Canyon National Park for 14 miles in 2 or 3 days. The Dolores River trips range from 3 to 6 days. They are open from mid-April to October and rates vary from $22 to $210, depending on the trip. |
 Bill Dvorak Kayak & Rafting Expeditions is Colorado's first licensed Outfitter. They have been outfitting on the Arkansas, Colorado, Dolores, Gunnison, Green, North Platte, Rio Chama, Rio Grande and San Miguel Rivers since 1969. They provide anything from 1/2 day to 12 day trips in rafts, inflatable kayaks and hard shell kayaks. They also offer corporate seminars, instructional courses and guided float fishing. This is a great adventure for family reunions, large family gatherings, groups from school, church, scouts, etc. Rates vary according to where the adventure takes place and how many are involved. |
| Buffalo Joe's Whitewater Rafting has specialized in rafting guests of all ages and abilities since 1978. Trips range from a 1/2 day to full day to multi-day. There is a steak lunch provided for all full day expeditions. Rates vary from $30 on up, depending on the adventure you partake in. |
| The Clear Creek Rafting Company offers 1/3 day to multi-day trips for everyone, from beginner to advanced. Expeditions are offered on the Arkansas River from Royal Gorge to Bighorn Sheep Canyon. They also offer free wetsuit use. |
 Colorado Adventures was twice named "Colorado Company of the Year". They operate on five different rivers in Colorado as well as the Salt River in Arizona, near Phoenix and Tucson. Trips can range anywhere from 1/2 day to 10 day excursions and include wildwater, family whitewater, guided float fishing and inflatable kayaks. Most of these expeditions do not require any previous experience. They also offer scenic horseback rides, downhill mountain bike rides, jeep tours and mine tours and provide top-quality meals as well. |
| Echo Canyon River Expeditions has specialized in rafting expeditions for all ages and abilities since 1978. Trips range from 1/2 and full day expeditions, multi-day trips and raft and rail packages. They are openly seasonally from April to September, 8am-7pm, seven days a week. |
| Four Corners Rafting offers rafting expeditions from Class II-III rapids along the Arkansas River, including Brown's Canyon and Wildhorse Canyon. They also offer Class III-IV rapid trips through The Numbers and Royal Gorge. You can choose from 1/2 day, full day and multi-day excursions complete with riverside camping and meals. Group and corporate rates are available. Group rates are for groups of 10 or more. RV and motorhome parking is available. |
 Performance Tours Rafting has four spectacular rivers to choose from. They are open from late April through September. A variety of river rafting tours for all ages and ability levels are available in Breckenridge, Buena Vista and the Royal Gorge area. Mild float trips to adrenaline pumping whitewater rafting rides are available daily on the Arkansas River, Blue River and the Colorado River. Rates vary depending on length and type of tour. |
