The Colorado Renaissance Festival is an annual event that features a cast of hundreds of authentically dressed 16th century merrymakers. The Colorado Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club hosts the Front Range Invitational and the Pikes Peak Invitational Soccer Tournaments at the U.S. Air Force Academy. This nonprofit organization strives to promote teamwork, sportsmanship and a life-long love for the game of soccer.

The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is an annual motorsport event that features a variety of automotive and motorcycle classes, including: Motorcycle/Quad/Side Car Division, Mini Sprint Division, Super Stock Car, Exhibition Divisions, Open Wheel Division, Pikes Peak Open, Unlimited Divisions, Championship Division, Electric Vehicles and Pro Trucks. The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo occurs once a year and is held at the Norris-Penrose Event Center. Events at the rodeo include: street breakfast/range ride, parade, street festival, Patriot/Bandana Night, Community Night, US Army/Ft. Carson Night, Chuck Wagon Cookoff, US Air Force Academy Day and a carnival. The carnival is full of games, rides and concessions for children of all ages. There are also concerts performed. Proceeds from the rodeo go to benefit the armed forces and their families.
The Springs Spree is an annual event to celebrate the history of Colorado Springs. There are many different stages throughout downtown Colorado Springs (the Acacia Park Stage, the Kiowa Avenue Stage, the Colorado Avenue Stage and the Vermijo Stage) that hold a variety of different acts. There are also street performers peppered throughout the area that include musicians and artists. They hold a rubber duck race and a Sailin' Shoes Race. The Sailin' Shoes Race is a 5k and 10k run for adults and children. Proceeds from the Sailin' Shoes Race benefit the YMCA youth programs.
