 Challenge Unlimited Pikes Peak by Bike offers specialized cycling and hiking tours. Try Pikes Peak by Bike, a 20 mile downhill ride from the summit of Pikes Peak, or the Gold Camp Road, best suited for large groups who want an easygoing downhill ride. The Prospector is a self-guided tour of the Gold Camp Road. The Prospector is the last 7 miles of the Gold Camp Road ride and meant as an easy ride for anyone. Garden of the Gods is an easy, early morning ride for sunrise lovers. The Tour des Aspens is a three night/four day tour of road biking, mountain biking, luxury hotels and fishing camps.  Colorado Adventures-Downhill Mountain Biking Tours is open during the summer only. They provide high quality downhill mountain bike trips for families and groups. Each guest is outfitted with a correct-fitting Kona mountain bike with front suspension and mechanical disc brakes. A helmet and complimentary souvenir water bottle are provided to each rider as well. There are two trails to choose from: a downhill dirt road on historic, scenic old Colorado Midland Railroad grade or a downhill paved road from the 12,126 foot summit of Cottonwood Pass on the Continental Divide. They offer 24 hours turnarounds on repairs if your bike breaks down on your vacation. Criterium stocks cool-weather clothing (including wool) for the high mountain evenings. You can even buy a new bike and have it shipped anywhere in the continental United States. Criterium provides for every need and want a first-time or old-time cyclist could possibly have. |

 Pikes Peak Mountain Bike Tours provides fun, safe opportunities to experience breathtaking views of Pikes Peak by mountain bike. They offer a self guided tour along Upper Gold Camp Road. This three hour downhill trail follows a canyon wall, passing through several railroad tunnels. The Bike Pikes Peak tour is a guided/van supported trail that descends 7000 feet from the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak. This tour starts you off right with a Manitou Pancake and Steak House breakfast buffet complete with fresh fruit and choice of entrees. |
