Military Golf Courses in
the Colorado Springs Area

Due to the prevalence of military personnel in the area, the Colorado Springs area provides courses for use by the men and women who fight to protect our American way of life.

The 18 hole Cheyenne Shadows Golf Course is located at Fort Carson.  This Dick Phelps designed golf course opened in 1971 and has some spectacular views.  This military course is open to the public, with green fees ranging from $35-$38.  It is open year round, with shirt and shoes required for play.  Tee times can be taken three days in advance.  Their carts come with ParView GPS, a state-of-the-art global positioning satellite system that gives you several tips specific to each hole.  You can get a private or group lesson for a fee.  For more information, please call 719-526-4122.

The 18 hole regulation course at the Eisenhower Golf Club has two courses available for play (Blue and Silver).  Fees range from $12-$55 and they are open year round.  Collared shirts are required for play.  The Blue Course is a 36 hole, 7301 yard, par 72 and the Silver Course is a 36 hole, 6519 yard, par 72.  The Blue Course was built in 1964 and was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. while the Silver Course was built in 1977 and was designed by Frank Hummel.
