The original 18 hole golf course at the Broadmoor Hotel Golf Club was designed by Donald Ross in 1918. In 1958, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., added a second 18 hole course to that original 6617 yard, par 74 course and incorporated the original 18 hole course into his newer design in 1965. The Mountain Course was designed later by Nicklaus Designs to round out a complete player's experience. The East Course will play host to the 2008 29th US Senior Open. Designed by Pete Dye, the golf course at the Country Club of Colorado, located at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, opened in 1973. This 18 hole regulation course is open all year. The dress code requires collared shirts and bermuda shorts, no denim. This 7056 yard course is rated 72.4. For more information, please call 719-538-4095.
Designed by Press Maxwell and Mark Rathert, the Kissing Camels Club golf course at the Garden of the Gods is a 27 hole, over 7000 yard (per 18 holes) championship course that was the former host of the Senior Women's Amateur Tournament. Their golf shop hours are 10am-2pm during the winter and 7:30am-5pm during the summer. Members and guests of the Garden of the Gods Club are welcome to participate in all this course has to offer. The Woodland Park Fujiki Golf and Country Club is rated 71.5. Each golfer must have a set of clubs and be in proper golf attire in order to play. There are no personal coolers or personal golf carts allowed on the course. For more information, please call 719-687-7587.
The 18 hole golf course at Woodmoor Pines Country Club was designed by Press Maxwell. There is a putting and chipping green, driving range, locker facilities and a pro shop.
